About

After becoming a direct entry midwife in 2006, I founded and ran a home birth practice in Ohio for 8 years. In 2013, I sat for the NARM CPM exam, receiving the credential of Certified Professional Midwife. My license to practice midwifery from the state of Texas was awarded in 2014 when the decision was made to relocate to San Antonio.

As a midwife, I have special interests in VBAC, breech birth, water birth and homebirth. Every midwifery situation is approached with a foundational belief that birth works. My goal is to help parents become strong in knowledge and choice so they can in turn create strong families. Because each family is unique, I can help you create a custom birth experience you will always remember.

I have six children and two step children ranging in age from 7 to 20. Five of my children were born at home in water. When not practicing midwifery, I like to spend my free time homeschooling my children, mountain biking with my husband, attending Taekwondo tournaments, cooking and running.
